I was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Jordanian roots. My academic journey was rooted in Riyadh, where I attended local and international schools, transitioning to an international curriculum to immerse myself in English. I initially pursued engineering in Jordan but quickly realised my passion lay elsewhere. Returning to Saudi Arabia, I enrolled at Yamamah University, majoring in Business Administration. This decision, influenced by the university's financial aid program, marked a pivotal point in my life, allowing me to forge connections that would shape my career. My professional journey began in real estate investment, where I honed my skills in strategy development and fund management. My pivot to venture capital came in 2016, sparked by my desire to support the burgeoning startup ecosystem. I founded Wakan, a consultancy that focused on securing funding for Series A startups, before eventually launching Watheeq Proptech Venture, the region's first proptech-focused VC fund. This accumulaton of experience led me to the creation of Alknz Ventures. Today, at Alknz, I focus on building transformative businesses and fostering growth across diverse sectors.
