Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, I’ve always embraced leadership and a drive for excellence.I honed my leadership skills early, balancing school life with a passion for sport and becoming president of the student union during high school. Pursuing a degree in English Literature at Ain Shams University allowed me to combine my love for language and communication, a foundation that would later serve me well in my career. After graduation, I embarked on what was initially a one-year plan to work for Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. Instead, my role quickly evolved into a decade-long career in operations and wellness management. At Etihad, I was entrusted with overseeing high-stakes initiatives and learned to navigate complex, dynamic environments. My focus was on enhancing team performance and implementing strategies that boosted organisational resilience. Following this, I joined Technogym in Dubai, where I supported the company’s expansion in the wellness sector before relocating back to Cairo. My corporate experience, combined with a passion for making a tangible impact, ultimately led me to pivot into the venture capital world at Alknz, where I now thrive in bringing innovative ideas to life.
